Who did you tell first? Keith of course! Then my sister, Courtney
Who was with you when you found out? I was upstairs and Keith was downstairs - I screamed and he came running upstairs to see what happened
My 1st reaction: I screamed and cried hysterically - Keith shed a few tears of joy!
Was your baby planned? Yep! We had been trying for a few months.
How far were you when you found out? 5 Weeks
How did your parents react? Super excited. All family members were completely shocked.
Do you know the sex? BOY!
Any names? Connor Russell Slagle
Any Ultrasounds? We had one at the doctor at 12 weeks and 20 weeks (the long appointment where they measure everything and tell you the sex). We also went to a different place to get an ultrasound at 16 weeks to find out the sex because Candace is super impatient :)
Have you heard the heart beat? Of course! It's my favorite part of each appointment.
Who do you think it will look like? I hope he has Keith's curly hair :)
Will the baby have siblings? He’ll have a big sister (our dog) - who will always think she's #1...
Have you felt the baby move? Yeah - whenever I sit down or am still, I can feel him dancing like crazy!
Did you have morning sickness? Not too bad - queezy for the first trimester but I only threw up once!
Did you have any cravings? Grilled cheese/tomato soup, pickles (of course), ice cold water, ice cream, and mashed potatoes have been the main cravings but they change daily...
Did you have any mood swings? Ha! All of the time. .. poor Keith - he's been a trooper!
Have you bought anything for the baby yet? Yep. We have the bedroom furniture - just need to put it all together.
When did you start to show? I obviously noticed it quicker than other people did - perhaps 20 weeks or so.
How long could you wear your regular clothes? Until about 5 to 5.5 months. Maternity clothes are super comfortable and easier to wear than using the rubber band trick!
Who will be in the delivery room with you? Keith
Will you cry when you hold the baby for the 1st time? Absolutely! I've had baby fever since I was a baby - a dream come true!
What is your favorite thing about being pregnant? The excitement and planning that we are putting into it - also my 'snoogle' that helps me sleep!
What is the worst thing about being pregnant? Being on my feet all day at work is pretty difficult and having 'baby brain' constantly.
What’s one thing you miss doing since being pregnant? White wine... c'mon April!
