Minnesota Trip!

Our little family headed up to Minnesota for a week of fun!  Connor and I were up there for 10 days and Keith joined us for 5.  During that time, we went to the cabin in Ely, attended my friend Anna MacLean's (now Mrs. Coffey!) wedding, played outside, and enjoyed seeing old friends.

On the way up to MN, I was flying solo with Connor, which is always an interesting task.  I was seated next to a mom and her teenage daughter and Connor had an absolute blast with them - which made it easier on me!  

When Keith came up on Tuesday, we headed up to the cabin.  It was during the 4 hour drive with Connor, me, and Pop Pop in one car that I learned Connor will sleep in the car if no one is in the backseat.  He likes to be constantly entertained if you're in the back with him - even if it's naptime!  Needless to say, halfway through the trip, we made a pit stop for me to move to the navigator seat!

At the cabin, the weather was absolutely amazing most of the time!  We took a few pontoon rides on the lake - Connor loved the ride but hated the life jacket!  It was pretty funny to see him try to get around in his life jacket because they're so big and bulky for babies!  One of my favorite parts of our time at the cabin was watching Pop Pop temporarily baby-proof the kitchen with carabiners and rope :)

When we got back to Edina, Grandma and Pop volunteered to watch Connor so Keith and I could meet up with some of my friends from high school - we had a great time catching up with them downtown!

On Saturday, we attended AnnaMac's wedding at Mt. Olivet and Minikahda Club - what a fun wedding!!  We are so excited for Michael and Anna Coffey! :)

Since my parents also attended the wedding, our friends Amanda and Tim watched Connor with their boy James that is almost the same age.  I couldn't help how cute this photo update was from them!


Upon our return from MN, we have been in full-on-packing-mode!  We close this Thursday on our new home - final countdown to moving day!!  Oh how fun it is to pack with a 1 year old and everything that requires :)
